Ready to live your dream life?

4 ways for when you don’t know where to get started…

Ready to live your dream life, but don’t know where to start? The below 4 steps can guide you to start your journey, and I’ve also linked some valuable resources for you in case you want to dive deeper.

1.Figure out what it is that you want.

  • Easier said than done!

  • What gets your excited? Where have you enjoyed and also excelled at something in the past? What would those closest to you say your strengths and weaknesses are? Although these questions are great, sometimes the best place to start is actually asking yourself what feelings and emotional landscape would your dream be made up of? Then think of times in your life when you were able to reach these emotional states or feelings.

  • What environment do you want to be in - what environments have you thrived in before?

  • Some experts say you should be super specific, but personally I (still) struggle with knowing exactly what I want, and finding my life purpose or ikigai seems like a lot of pressure. So I prefer to focus on the more hazy realm of how I want to feel, which environments I want to be in, who I am surrounded by etc.

  • I’d recommend exploring the 8 questions in this article to kick you off.

2. Picture this reality as if it has already happened.

  • I won’t go into the intricasies of how and why this works, but trust me when I say that it does. By feeling in your whole body the reality you envision, as if it has already happened, along with elevated emotions, your dreams and goals become manifest.

  • Practice entering your envisioned reality daily via meditation.

  • I highly recommend you check out Dr Joe Dispenza’s book ‘Becoming Supernatural: How Common People Are Doing the Uncommon’ https://amzn.to/47muFhB

3. Make a list of skills and things to try to help you realise your goals…and get going!

  • Where do you have a knowledge or competency gap? Write a list of things to study and try out so that you can fill these gaps. This will bring you closer to your goals and dreams.

  • Your future self will thank you. Stop stealing from your future self by putting in the work today!

  • This is also directly living out the 3rd yama Asteya (or non-stealing). You can read more about that here.

4. Discover your gift…and give it away.

  • Need I say more? Share your light with the world!

  • Take steps to showcase your goals - start your own business, apply for that dream job, host free workshops to showcase your skills, volunteer etc.

  • For example, I love learning new things in the holistic health and personal development space. Even more than the learning process, I love sharing this knowledge and helping people feel their best self and heal.

Thanks for being here, and for taking an interest in discovering your unique light. I hope to see you shine and share your beautiful gift with the world.

Lots of love,

Tati

P.S. I’m also still figuring all this out. Remember that its your intention and the journey that matters most - everything else will fall into place as it should.

Don’t put too much pressure on yourself - at your core you are already whole and perfect, once you embody that I truly believe that the rest works itself out.
